Since opening in 1986, Motel Royal Tara has been providing exceptional accommodation in Binalong, offering a high standard of friendly service and facilities. All 20 units have been fully refurbished and redecorated to ensure your comfort.

This property was originally developed by Tom and Marilyn, the proud owners, in 1986. After successfully managing and caring for this beautiful property for 40 years, the original owners have handed it over to the new owners in 2025 as they step into retirement.

Our Restaurant and Function Center is currently undergoing renovations and is temporarily closed. We kindly encourage our guests to make alternative arrangements for meals during this time.

We have large function center which can accommodate up to 200 people. We welcome corporate event bookings or wedding events Front desk (limited hours, mostly till 8pm), key retrieval, private entrance and parking in the front of the rooms.

A government issued valid ID proof will be required.

Weekly Stay Deals are available, please ask our friendly staff for the weekly stay discounts.

Deposit Policy

You'll be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time.

You'll be asked to pay the following charges at the property. Fees may include applicable taxes.

Deposit: AUD 20.00 per day

Payments by Credit and Debit cards attract surcharge.
